Classes At Pawsitive Steps
Hi Everyone.
Just wanted to say congrats to everyone who earned titles this past weekend at the Top Dog Trial. Way to go! Congrats to Mike Shortland and Dazzle for earning that last jumpers leg for their ATChC!! Plus congrats ( belated because of new ATChC requirements) to Joy Miller and her BC Chase ( who happens to be Dazzle's brother!).
Rally O Trial Friday March 13th
The Rally O trial March 13 went great, LONG but great! We were not expecting quite so many runs! Jeanne Shaw was our fabulous judge and lots of titles earned plus 2 perfect 200's awarded to Lou Dobie and her Belgian Angel! Thanks again to Barb Wright for all the organizing, Diana Spelay for the scoring and Tracy Dery for the Chili that kept everyone going!
Classes.
The Tuesday morning Contacts and Weaves class has their final class this Tuesday.
Handling 2/3 is finished so there is no class this Tuesday.
The Handling and Contacts and weaves for Tuesday night and Wednesday night have their final class this week.
Wednesday morning Jump Class has 2 more classes, one this week and Michelle K will sub next weeks class.

While I am away the following classes WILL run and will have subs. I have put the Start dates on the classes.Please come in and register for these classes ASAP. If you don't register, don't assume they will be running if you just show up! I have left set ups and things I want you to work on with each instructor.

Continual Improvevment
In order to keep ourselves up to date on all our training and bring our students the most current training methods, most of the instructors ( and some students too!) will be away attending a part or all of a 10 day seminar with Susan Garrett in Vancouver. Susan is one of the best dog trainers in North America and teaches all over the world. Her mentor and close friend is none other than the famous Bob Bailey. Susan has not been out to BC in 10 years to teach so this is an opportunity that we cannot pass up. We have done our best to not cancell any of the classes during this time and we have arranged subs for most of them. If you are not sure please check with the office prior to your class.

Rally O Trial
One more thing!
Tracey D has very gerously offered to have home made chili and buns and drinks for dinner at the trial Friday night, $5 per person.

Events at Pawsitive Steps
Hi All,
Jump Classes
The Thursday jump classes are in fact finished, I thought we had one more but we are done so no jump classes this Thursday! We won't start back until I get back in April.
Drop In Practice
The centre will be closed Friday morning for drop in practice for clean up for the Rally O trial.
Rally O Trial Friday March 13th
The Rally O trial will start at 5 pm. Please be there as close to 4:30pm as possible to get yourself set up. We are hoping to be in and out by 8:30pm or sooner. There are 49 runs so lots of dogs to get thru!

Thursday - no jump classes but Jump 1 can come in at 6pm to practice. I will pick up the remaining classes when I get home on April 20.
NOTE:
Just a note to all owners of male dogs, PLEASE do NOT let your dogs lift their legs anywhere on the building or the bushes beside the front door. Use the back area OR the bushes farther along, not right next to the door. This makes it very unpleasant for the rest of the people who have to walk their dogs by or thru it!!
